This turn-of-the-20th-century antique and love worn Persian gem is pure human soul! Handwoven with 100% vegetable dyed wool, its natural colors have softened gracefully over time. Very worn with an authentic, well-loved patina, this piece has truly lived a full life and bears its scars well.
It showcases a delicate teal green lattice pattern that crisscrosses against a warm terracotta field, giving it a wonderfully hypnotic, architectural rhythm. Surrounding the field, there are rich multi-banded borders with floral art and stylized paisley motifs that frame the warm center superbly.
Measuring approximately 5' x 9', this heavily distressed antique beauty isn't meant for a high-traffic zone, think of it as a soul-soothing addition for a quieter life in a bedroom, study, or low-foot-traffic gallery space where its character and history can be truly appreciated. It has a floppy handle and is weighted with old world wool.
