This rug was hand knotted in Persia, in Tabriz, and is in amazing condition for its 100 years of age. This rug has a sophisticated geometric design with a beautiful central medallion. It sits on an ivory ground with wonderful shades of blues throughout that are irresistible!
It is low pile wool and has light, scattered wear (you can see in pics)...boasting its great character and real age. A real beauty that has timeless value and generations to go.
It was hand woven in the 1920s with all natural, vegetable dyed wool. The rug is in great condition, especially considering its age.
