6’8 x 10’ Antique Persian Shiraz Rug / Vintage Tribal Rug (#1393)

This is an old village rug from Southwest Persia, hand knotted by tribal weavers of Shiraz, which happens to be home to the famous Qashqai tribe.

The 1940s Shiraz with a low wool pile and on a wool foundation displays immense character, showing off its tribal look n style. The strength in its simple and natural color ways is soothing and bold at the same time.

It is on an oatmeal/sand ground, in great condition and is super clean! It will bring immediate charm and history to a space in the home or office and is very fairly priced for a great piece of history. This rug was T-washed, which has given it the more subdued look with its dyes.  Please note, this rug will be a bit darker when styled indoors.
