Hand knotted of vegetable dyed wool and undyed camel hair, this century old beautiful rug featuring a central medallion is in great condition and offers so much beauty and history.
It was woven in mountainous district of Northwest Persia and undoubtedly from the weaver’s own camel. This rug is super durable, medium pile and even throughout with very earthy colors. The rug offers loads of character, down to the very fringes where you will see the ornate touch of the weaver and the polka dot wool throughout. Quite rare to see!
This is a wool rug on cotton foundation and the wool is quite luxurious. You can truly sense it from the pics.
