This dazzling Persian Kerman Rug is mesmerizing with its intricate floral motif and kaleidoscope of pastel colors. A central medallion of flowers draws the eye in with cornflower blue, rouge pink, hunter green, and ivory. Throughout this beauty, the abrash of colors adds to the story of how this stunning rug was hand-woven.
From circa 1920, this majestic rug was finely woven with lanolin rich wool which gives it a wonderful sheen. The high count of knots per inch resulted in a tight weave which is soft to the touch and gives a mink like feel.
The wool was dyed with natural vegetable dyes, has a medium pile, and a weighted feel to it. This luxurious rug is in excellent condition and will be amazing in any space needing a sense of opulence.
