Woven circa 1900 in the south of Persia in the region of Shiraz and its wool was naturally dyed with vegetables, roots and plants sources.
This is a low pile, nicely worn and weighted Persian rug featuring animal motifs, floral geometric motifs and a triple poled medallion within its field. Its definitely a hard wearing rug that is durable and displays immense character and aged dyes looking fabulous, earned through time.
Exact size: 5'5 x 9'
It would look great on a hard wood floor as well as on stone. It will bring immediate charm and history to a space in the home or office and is very fairly priced for a great piece of history.
