This rug was hand knotted in Northwest Persia, and is in amazing condition for its 100 years of age. This rug has coarse knotting and with a phenomenal geometric design. It sits on a madder red-brick ground.
It is low pile with some beautiful and lovely scattered wear and one specific area with a fist size where it is to foundation (you can see in pics). This spot will be reinforced from the underside to keep its integrity and life. It has great character which shows off its true age. A real beauty that has timeless value and generations to go.
