Presenting a rugged and beautifully worn Northwest Persian rug that was hand knotted from circa 1920 offering geometric, tribal design and glorious color ways that are highly desired, especially with those French blue corner spandrels and the baby blue and coral in the center point of the rug.
It boasts with a large and strong central medallion, highly stylized motifs with the classical art and angular movement that we appreciate from Heriz. This beauty from the mountainous region of Persia is very clean with edges fully bound and with secure top and bottom edges as well. With scattered wear and character earned through time. It is still resilient after all this time and will offer durability with its coarse and hard wearing wool.
