This is a lovely Persian Lilihan from the 1930s with beautiful floral art design on a raspberry ground. It features a midnight blue border with the "fence of security" edge guard. You'll see beautiful abrash sweeping across the rug, especially in the middle, where the aqua blue central medallion is flanked.
This antique Persian is considered low pile with a lot of scattered wear, and it does have some fluff. If you pinch it, you will grab and feel its luxurious old world wool. It's going to be durable rug that can take on a good deal of abuse for the next century of its life. The natural dyes have a lovely and warm saturation.
It will add a great deal of decor to any space as well as fill your home with true beauty and history. Handwoven with vegetable dyed wool. A great deal for size, age, quality and of course, ART!
