This early 1900s worn antique Persian was very finely woven and back in the day, Ferahan rugs were generally designed for Persian aristocracy. It took highly skilled hands of female weavers to produce this Persian; it is finely knotted and was labor intensive.
Made of high-grade old world wool, this beautiful and early 1900s rug is worn to perfection and has earned its amazing character only through time. The fine wool, exceptional craftsmanship, elegance and decorative appeal of this Ferahan is a favorite of connoisseurs and interior designers.
It had some low threadbare areas that have been patched, and also with old rugs. Please see pics.
Hand knotted with vegetable dyed wool, and looking good. Clean and floor ready.
