Here's a meaty and full pile Persian from the mountain region of NW Persia known as Heriz. This beauty offers up bold dyes with geometric design with a powerful central medallion and amazing ivory corner spandrels and motifs. The wool is luxurious and durable. It will take on a great deal of abuse and keep on serving. This big beauty is from mid 20 Century. Please note, there is some fading/discoloration to one small area to the side of the central medallion.
In good condition and a great, heavy Persian and at a great value for all this amazing wool and art. Professionally cleaned and ready for its next home.
