8'3 x 10' Antique Heriz Rug (#1445) / 8x10 worn vintage rug

This is a 1920s all over pattern, floral-geometric heriz. We go bananas for these. Handwoven with vegetable dyed wool, it has amazing wear earned through time. It is absolute perfection and your friends will notice it! The amazing medallions and motifs throughout just make you stop and stare. 

At room size, it will definitely make a statement with its design, color ways and aesthetic. The all over pattern design makes it easier and fun to style and it being that it is a Persian, you can enjoy it for decades to come. These are the infamous rugs that are going to get passed down, generation to generation.

The ground color is a cardinal brick red. Shades will vary based on lighting. The borders are exquisite and hug the rug so nicely with a beautiful deep indigo blue dyes (appears midnight blue). Nothing synthetic here! Old, fine quality wool that was dyed naturally and hand knotted. It must have taken a couple years to produce, and undoubtedly, with a few dyers and weavers.
