For someone who loves art and style, history and character...here's a real gem.
This village rug was woven in the slopes of Mt. Sabalan of Northwest Persia and is from Heriz. Hand knotted with a geometric design and gorgeous diamond medallions throughout, it is a room size tribal rug that speaks its power!
Low pile and made with all natural dyes, the construction and coarse wool of this rug cannot be missed. The ground color of this Heriz is a deep indigo blue and the scattered wear earned through a century of love, is perfection. It took some years and multiple weavers to produce this room size beauty.
The wool has been dyed naturally from plant and mineral sources to achieve its color.
