From the village of Mahal, this Persian has a beautiful, floppy handle and deeper brick-rust ground. The all over design and motifs will make it easy to style this rug and to add a great deal of history and art to the floor...simply put, it'll transform the space.
Low pile, woven in the 1920s with superior wool that was dyed naturally with vegetables, plants, roots, insects, flowers and other organic resources. Has scattered wear. The border undersides have a synthetic leather (or possibly leather) backing to help protect the rug and also give it weight so the edges rest comfortably on the floor.
