8'5 x 11'2 Battered and Bruised Persian Heriz (#1443ML) / 9x11 worn vintage rug

This is an antique Persian Heriz that sets really sets the mood! It is battered and bruised and is loaded with immense character. It has a geometric and powerful design, with a large and in charge central medallion. The rug is hand knotted with vegetable dyed wool and will definitely be a statement piece in your home, especially considering its 100+ year old age. 

It's from the NW mountains of Persia, near Mt. Sabalan and was woven circa 1920. This heavy duty rug is durable and was woven with all natural, vegetable dyed wool. It is ready to take on more abuse and continue to serve. Please see pics for condition. This rug has worn edges and fringes and has scattered wear to foundation. It has been recently washed and is ready to go!
