8'6 x 11'5 Antique Persian Heriz (#1515) / 9x12 vintage rug

Go on and stare, because it is true, this antique Persian Heriz indeed comes with it's own flair.  Woven circa 1900, this low pile rockstar rug is worn to perfection and is from the rugged mountainous areas of NW Persia. With irresistible natural dyes, the color story here definitely captures us and this durable Heriz is a statement piece. 

Boasting with distinct character and flanked with a delicious coral central medallion, this beauty is surrounded by geometric fabulous-ness (we know it is not a real word, but it makes sense, right?). It is a tried and true tribal rug that  strikes us with everything its got. Have you ever seen that color combo of chocolate brown and coral with such amazing art on the corners of the rug? This rug has a rich story that captures us, with timeworn character that speaks volumes of its age and durability. PS - the ground you see in the border is actually a deep midnight blue (not black). You rarely, if ever, will see black vegetable dyes in old rugs.
