This is a stunning antique Tabriz rug from early 20th Century and yes, it has our full attention. With such exquisite color ways and style, it's hard to look away at all the beauty it exudes. The rug is made from one of the epicenters of rug weaving, which is Tabriz. The area to which this rug was woven is known for a really tight weave and Tabriz rugs are collected for this very reason as it is a fine Oriental Rug which has quite the prestige! Due to their long history of carpet weaving the weavers of Tabriz are amongst the most skilled in Persia and their pieces are known to be elegant and refined.
Low pile, super clean and in excellent condition, especially considering its age. We are happy to have this antique hand knotted Tabriz and to extend it at a great deal for this work of art.
