The antique Persian Sarouk from circa 1930 has truly stood the test of time and continues to be most popular rug in the West. Sarouks are known to have exceptional quality and tremendous durability, to withstand several generations of heavy use, so go ahead and let the dogs play all over it!
Hand knotted and made of vegetable dyed wool with stylized floral bouquets, floral vase art, and sprays all over with a saturated, berry red ground. Borders are in midnight blue. Low pile and with scattered wear, congruent to its life and history. A very heavy duty Persian and at a great value for age and quality.
