8x11 Persian Heriz Rug with French Blue #3439

Regular price $6,300.00

Popular by demand over the decades and woven circa 1920, this is a highly durable and phenomenal Persian Heriz with geometric and rectilinear design, coarse knotting and a great landscape of tribal art.

The natural dyes are fabulous and the organic variations and shades of the vegetable dyes displaying abrash are exquisite. You'll see the classic Persian Heriz design with brilliant colors including a rust red field in the grand central field of the rug with pops of coral, pistachio green and various shades of blue including baby blue and the irresistible French blue in the corner spandrels that frame this rug exquisitely.

The rug showcases a central medallion in midnight blue with a complementing its midnight blue and space blue border featuring edgy serrated leaves and floral-geometric art. This Persian is robust and with jewel toned vegetable dyes on rugged old world wool that will serve for generations to come.

Low pile with scattered wear and in good condition for its age.
