Beautiful and graceful, deep navy blue ground antique Mahal, from a Northwest Persian village. It features a Herati design, also known as water garden or fish design that was woven in. Persian Mahals are popular because of their superior craftsmanship, charm and decorative appeal.
This rug is over a century old, hand knotted circa 1920. It is low pile with lovely and light scattered wear, showing off immense character and beauty.
