Love worn beautifully, this is an antique HERIZ from Persia was hand knotted with all natural dyes, circa 1910. This amazing and large Persian comes to us from the NW of the country and features superior and coarse wool. The rug is timeworn, which means that everything you see has earned its character through only time.
A few small areas of this rug had loss to foundation and we have re-secured it with wool. Please see pics. This rug is durable and is ready for another century of life.
All dyes are 100% real and organic, where color was derived from the tribe's natural resources such as fruits, vegetables and plants. Rug has been washed and is ready to go to its new home.
