Here's a lovely P E R S I A N that comes from K e r m a n with loads of character and floral beauty, but perhaps what stands out the most are those amazing deer that are on the entire main border, displayed in pairs. We've never had a rug like it.
This P E R S I A N features multiple, intricate border bands and a lovely central medallion, with fine wool that was tightly woven and true wear that only come with time.
From the 1880s, it has a beautiful, floppy handle and scattered areas of wear that had loss of wool, but we had it in rug rehab and gave all those spots a foundation again and this near 10x14 rug is all healed up and has so much more love to give.
Woven with all natural, vegetable dyed wool with soothing autumn like dyes.
Because of the nature of this rug, we don't recommend this as a dining room piece as the chairs moving back and forth and the friction would not be ideal for this old timer.
