It's the first ROUND room size rug in the collection and my, my, it is pretty! From the south of Persia, this is a Kerman rug which shows off a superb antique ivory ground and of course, floral art which is what Kermans are known for.
The wool is very soft and has a wonderful floppy handle. The rug is low pile, but has meatiness to it...the wool is truly luxurious. This would be superb for a round dining table (but make sure your chairs pull out and would still be on rug). The fact that it is round is rare, harder to weave and to come by. It can be styled anywhere that its needed and it will be a particular gem in the home. Tightly woven by highly skilled artisans. Clean condition and the wool has a beautiful sheen to it to be enjoyed for a lifetime.
