One thing we love around here are H E R I Z rugs, but when they are in this oversize dimension, we love them even more! At a grand shape of nearly 10x14, it's a tribal rug that covers more floor space and makes a statement. Nothing really beats these 1920s NW P E R S I A N S, and they've been in demand for decades because they have attractive art, great wool and construction and are extremely durable rugs.
This low pile H E R I Z has coarse wool which was naturally dyed. It sits on a brick red ground, has a grand central medallion and ivory corner spandrels. It's rectilinear art form with extraordinary detail in the field and in the midnight blue borders shows off this highly stylized P E R S IA N.
You'll notice a wide array of colors and the dyes have aged well. With the up close shots, you'll see the gorgeous abrash in this rug, which are variations/shades of the organic dyes and different batches wool used to weave this piece, showing off its amazing art.
Has scattered wear, is fully intact and a virgin with no repairs. It stands out from the crowd with its age and size. Priced at a phenomenal value. Thank you for shopping small.
