Approximately 10x14, this tightly woven 1920s Persian Kerman is a fine piece with an amazing color story that immediately pulls you in. The palette leans into warm camel, soft ivory, and layered blues that shift throughout the field…giving it depth without feeling heavy.
Woven with vegetable dyed wool, it is exceptionally soft to the touch with a smooth, almost velvety handle that Kermans are known for. The weave is tight and refined, and you can feel that quality the second you handle it.
The design carries beautifully interconnected vine work, moving effortlessly across the field with large scale motifs that read almost like a lattice…structured but still fluid. Everything is tied together in a way that feels intentional and easy on the eye.
A special detail…this one is signed in the top border, woven right in…always a nod to the weaver and workshop behind the piece. Luxurious in feel and presence, and extended at a great value…thank you for shopping small.
