An antique 1920s Persian beauty with a lattice field full of stylized shrubs throughout…each little diamond shifting in tone as it travels. One end leans navy blue, the other melts into a deep coffee brown; weaver switched wool halfway through.
The colors are playful and a little rebellious…pinks, mossy greens, inky blues, warm browns…changing from one end to the other like chapters in a very old book. It feels alive, spirited fun.
The borders carry sweet botanical motifs, framing the field with movement and charm. One border end is missing…because she has been through some chapters of life. That little imperfection only adds to the shabby chic energy. Nothing stiff or precious here…just raw beauty.
Handwoven with vegetable dyes and 100% wool through and through, she’s soft to the touch with those gorgeous raw wool fringes doing their thing at the ends, but still sturdy and durable enough for a high traffic area.
