Handwoven with vegetable dyed wool, it features three bold medallions within medallions, all laid out in a strong graphic tribal style. The palette hits that sweet spot, making it easy to mix with both vintage and modern interiors.
What really makes this piece special is the personality in the details. The geometric motifs running along the borders aren’t perfectly timed or mirrored and that’s exactly the charm. The slight unpredictability gives the rug a lived in, one of a kind energy that only comes from true handwork.
There’s also some seriously good abrash happening, especially toward one end where you’ll notice visible shifts in color from batch to batch of dyed wool. It adds a layered, almost color block effect that feels totally unique and a little quirky in the best way.
