Handwoven in Southwest Persia with 100% vegetable dyed wool, she showcases that earthy, nomadic spirit of Shiraz. It’s a piece that instantly makes a room feel more layered, grounded, and lived in.
Three pole medallions in the field, like tribal totems against a warm, sunbaked field, while deep navy corners and borders hold peacock motifs, floral shrubs, and protective tribal symbolism woven throughout. The colors are especially great here…timeworn navy, burnt orange, faded walnut, soft ivory, and little hits of cool blue peeking through all that age.
She’s got a floppy handle with a beautifully broken in feel under hand. Some repairs and wear throughout, exactly what you’d expect from a rug that’s been around for generations and actually used. Recently professionally washed and ready for her next chapter. A little shabby chic…a little tribal energy…a whole lot of character.
