Meet your new favorite little accent piece! Handwoven around 1920 by a skilled female artisan in the village of Bibikabad, this antique Persian beauty proves that amazing things really do come in small packages. Hand-knotted with a surprisingly full, plush pile, it’s crafted from high-quality wool that feels wonderfully soft to the touch and carries a lustrous sheen powered by natural sheep’s lanolin.
The ground color is a rich, moody masterpiece, striking a gorgeous balance between the bold warmth of carmine red and the dusty, purple-pink softness of berry and mauve. Deep, saturated vegetable dyes bring the rest of the palette to life with vibrant pops of turmeric yellow, aqua blue, pistachio, army green, and navy blue. Anchoring the center field is a striking, symmetrical floral motif that branches outward with stylized blossoms and leafy sprays, all framed by a glowing turmeric border.
Whether you drape it over a credenza, display it on a table, lay it on the floor, or hang it on the wall as woven art, this luxe little gem is an absolute dream to collect.
Plus, if you're looking to create a complete story, this gem has two equally charming sibling rugs that share its vintage vibe - you can check them out here and here!
