Antique Persian Tabriz Rug / 7x10 Vintage Persian Rug #4555

Regular price $7,200.00

I love a good Tabriz, and this one is just plain easy to decorate with. If you've been looking for an antique Persian rug that's easy to style, has great color, and doesn't overwhelm a room, I think this one checks a lot of boxes.

The soft powder blue field mixed with the warm terracotta border gives it a relaxed feel. This old beauty was woven in Persia during the 1920s and has that wonderful balance Tabriz rugs are known for. They are respected because of their fine craftsmanship, detailed drawing, and durability. They are refined rugs, but they're also made to be lived on.

This one has been professionally compound washed, which has softened the original vegetable dyes into this beautiful, powdery palette. The wool is of excellent quality, and is healthy with a nice low, even pile. The weave is finely done, stout, sturdy, and still wonderfully supple. The ends and sides have been professionally secured, it's clean, and ready to head straight into its next home.
