This is a well-worn antique tribal Caucasian Kazak rug that's filled with character and wear, all earned through time. Low pile, a century of age, the kind of patina you simply cannot fake or buy new.
The geometric patterning is extraordinary up close, panel layout with bold angular medallions, stepped forms, and tribal motifs that carry steep symbolism to the weaver.
She's low pile and worn in places. This is not a rug for hiding. This is a rug for displaying. Layer her, frame her, put her somewhere low-traffic where people will crouch down and say "wait... what IS this?" She rewards the curious.
