The antique Persian LIlihan from circa 1930 has truly stood the test of time and remains with soft and luxurious old world wool that will be felt underfoot. This Persian has exceptional quality and tremendous durability, to withstand several generations of heavy use, so go ahead and let the dogs play all over it!
Hand knotted and made of vegetable dyed wool with stylized floral sprays, it features a red-orange brick ground (the undertone of this beauty reads in the orange family). Borders are in midnight blue.
It has scattered wear, congruent to its life and history, but overall, it’s in very good shape. It has a minor discoloration or old stain (please see photo for details), but it is not an eye sore.
A very heavy duty Persian and at a great value for age and quality.
