If you love that washed out blue and some shocks of deep magenta with a botanical design, high quality wool in a Persian, this beauty exudes romance. The shape is somewhat square and it has all over floral art that'll be a cinch to style with. This Persian is old, from the 1920s and it's low pile and supremely weighted due to its solid construction and tight weave. To produce this rug was a feat, as it was very labor intensive since it is a finer Persian.
This rug has grace and if you'll notice, quite an array of border bands that make up a good part of the rug. It's gorgeous and actually an outstanding part of the rug. Additionally, this antique rug had a compound wash, which mellowed out the natural dyes a bit and you have this subdued color story. It's squeaky clean, ends and sides are fully secured and floor ready.
