Skinny Narrow Persian Runner / 2’5 x 6’5 Antique Persian Dargazin Rug #4461

Regular price $1,800.00

A 1930s Persian Dargazin rug, an approximately 3x7 runner, doing exactly what it was meant to do…carry the room without trying too hard. That warm berry red ground hits first…deep, saturated, alive…then all the floral sprays start to show themselves, layered in blues, soft greens, and warm ivory like they’ve been growing here forever. The dyes have that rich, jewel-toned depth you only get from vegetable color…nothing flat, everything shifting as the light moves across it.

The border bands are dialed in just right…floral chains running the length, framing the field and keeping everything feeling held together and grounded. Low pile throughout, so it’s easy, practical, and still feels good underfoot…that soft, worn-in kind of comfort that only comes with age and real use. You’ll feel it immediately. Handwoven wool with a nice handle…supple but sturdy…made to live with you, not tiptoe around.

Good condition for its age, with all the character you’d hope for in a piece that’s been around this long. One of those runners that quietly does its job…and does it really, really well.
