An Antique Caucasian like we've never seen before. Tribal art, edgy, and nomadic. Bone ivory main field with power filled art woven with intention. A floral chain border on French blue ground is like a ribbon around this delightful little. This was handmade sometime between 1880-1900 and is a mighty rug in a small size at nearly 2’x3’ that really brings power and energy through.
Not the typical Caucasian. These are rugs woven north of Persia, near the Black Caspian Sea, by mountain weavers. Low pile, with some scattered wear. It’s true art in rug form, and it can be placed on the floor or hung on the wall. Small, stout and solid, it can handle high traffic areas. One little rug that will transform the energy of the room. A great little piece from the past that is an awesome collectible. Thx for shopping small!
