This small village rug is from Serab, Persia. It features small scale boteh art all over the field with fence of security motif as the edge guard in a lovely blue color that frames the rug beautifully. In the main border is a classic ivory ground with caterpillar design. This Persian is substantially weighted rug for its size, woven with heavy duty and luxurious wool. It'll serve for generations to come.
